Easy Styling Ideas for Kids

Share

Regardless of lockdown, the morning hustle can leave you short of time. From making breakfast to convincing your children to brush their teeth, their hair often falls by the wayside.

Below, we give some quick ideas for girls’ hair that can be done with the smallest amount of effort and time – each style will take no more than 15 minutes! After all, no one wants a boring 'do.

Wrap Around Ponytail

Add a unique touch to the average ponytail by taking a section of hair from the bottom of the pony and wrap it around the hair band until it is no longer visible.

Boxer Braids

Boxer braids – or double Dutch braids – are super easy, and when done well, can last a few days! You can braid the hair all the way down, or just to the nape and leave the rest of the hair hanging loose.

Mini Braids

Part hair down the middle, and then create two small braids either side using the front pieces. Simply pin to the side of the head to secure.

Beachy Waves

This look is great to carry on from boxer braids. Simply sleep in the braids and undo them in the morning for natural beach waves.

Headband & Clips

Great for those who love to accessorise. Transform a simple down style with a headband, scarf, or strategically placed clips.

Sleek Ballet Bun

Worn high, medium, or low, this sleek style can keep even the most rambunctious kid’s hair out of their face. Use a small amount of shine spray for added sleekness.
