Get the Runway Look with Lee Stafford

Share

Fashion month may almost be over, but you can relive the glamour by recreating some of the stand-out catwalk looks with help from award-winning hairdresser Lee Stafford.

Super Sheen

The super sheen wet look was seen across numerous runways again this fashion month - this style on Bella Hadid at Alberta Ferretti is a killer way to wear it with a twist. To recreate the look, work a walnut sized amount of my Wet Look Gelee (£7.99, Boots) through the hair concentrating on the roots. Then take a tail comb and give yourself a strong centre parting and neatly comb the hair on either side of your part so it sits behind your ears. Then tie your hair at the nape of the neck and pull out the small front sections of hair.

Curls

Curls are back with a bang and were seen everywhere from Topshop Unique to JW Anderson. The best way to channel that sexy 80's vibe is with my Chopstick Styler (£19.99, Argos).

Start by prepping the hair with Lee Stafford Ddouble Blow Volumising Mousse (£5.99, Boots) onto towel dried hair and then blast with your hairdryer to add volume. Next take two-inch sections of hair and wrap them around the xtra- skinny rectangular barrel of the Chopstick Styler, making sure to leave out the bottom inch or two (depending on length) of your hair for that ultra modern effect. Once you've finished curling your entire hair you want to shake it out and tease through with your fingers or a wide toothed comb, to give the curls that lived in effect. To finish off, give yourself a deep side-parting for the ultimate 80's throwback.
