See all the looks below and how to recreate them in the comfort of your own home...

Ashley Graham by celebrity hairstylist and ghd Brand Ambassador, Justine Marjan

Inspired by Sophia Loren and Ashley’s mermaid shape Zac Posen gown, I wanted to give her a face and body moment. We gave her an elegant braided ballerina bun with custom Jennifer Behr bows throughout. - Justine Marjan

Get the look:

  1. First, I prepped damp hair with a thermal blow-dry balm, and then I blow-dried the hair with the ghd air hairdryer until it was straight with a centre parting.
  2. Next I flat ironed the roots with the ghd platinum+ styler, directing hair away from the face. After, I gathered the top half of her hair, applying extra hold gel to the roots and brushing the hair back with the ghd oval dressing brush, securing with an elastic. Repeat on the bottom section, titling the head back as you secure.
  3. Apply a hairnet over the ponytail and twist into a bun, securing with French pins. Lastly, apply bows throughout the bun securing with French pins, and then finish the look with a spritz of extra hold hairspray.

Awkwafina by celebrity hairstylist, Anh Co Tran

A modern tweak on the classic waves. I wanted something youthful and chic to cohesively vibe with the pussy bow power suit and the soft make-up. - Anh Co Tran

Get the look:

  1. First, apply a good amount of medium-hold mousse on dry hair and then rough dry with the ghd air hairdryer, lifting at the roots for volume. Next, starting from the back using 1inch sections, apply a memory hold spray evenly throughout each section and brush out with a boar bristle brush.
  2. Once the hair has been fully prepped, use the ghd platinum+ styler to create what I like to call the #nuwave. It’s a loose, sexy, lived-in texture I love to create, and with its rounded edges and even heat, the ghd platinum+ styler is the perfect tool to get the look!
  3. After the waves have been created, backcomb each section and finish the look with texture spray.

Charlize Theron by celebrity hairstylist, Adir Abergel

When I saw the beautiful light Japanese indigo fabric on her Dior dress, I immediately knew I wanted to create a dramatic contrast with her hair. I envisioned taking her hair to a luxe and rich shade of brown that would enhance those gorgeous blue eyes. I wanted a sexy side swept bob that was luxurious, timeless and chic.  My vision for the entire look was for it to feel really luxe: healthy, glowing hair with rich colour styled into an amazing sexy bob. Charlize is an incredible creative artist who is fearless and willing to experiment. When I presented her the concept to go brunette for the Oscars, she totally trusted me. I think what’s really beautiful is that hair is one of your greatest accessories, and changing your hair colour is an amazing way to play with your look. - Adir Abergel

Get the look:

  1. Adir started by hydrating her hair with a mask to give it the most amount of shine possible. He allowed the mask to penetrate for just three minutes and then rinsed it out completely. Once the hair was towel-dried, he used a volumizing product at the roots to create memory and volume that would prime her hair for the perfect blow out. Next, he created a deep side parting and applied de-frizz cream. Then, he blow-dried the hair with the ghd air hairdryer and a round brush to create bounce and movement.
  2. To finish the look, Adir used the ghd platinum+ styler to create a beautiful, shiny finish. The hair was carefully straightened with the colour protective flat iron to give the look just the right amount of movement and to accentuate the cut. When you have new colour, the ghd platinum+ styler is a must because of its ultra-zone technology that provides 2x more colour integrity, twice as much shine and 70% less breakage.

Serena Williams by celebrity hairstylist, Nai’vasha Johnson

Inspired by the Giorgio Armani sketch of Serena’s dress, I wanted to celebrate her beautiful hair texture and iconic cheekbones with a sleek, tight ponytail. - Nai’vasha Johnson

Get the look:

  1. I began by prepping the hair with a re-styling milk to redefine the natural texture of her hair. I then blow-dried the hair using the ghd air hairdryer, which has ionic technology for shinier results with less frizz.
  2. Then I separated the hair into quadrants and brushed it back into a slicked ponytail, securing with a bungee elastic hair tie.
  3. Next, I saturated the ponytail with a Re-Hydrating Mist and created an invisible braid to clip in hair extensions. I used dramatic ponytail extensions that had a crimped pattern to it with sleek ends.
  4. I finished the style by using an Extra Hold Hairspray to comb back the crown of her hair, add shine and maintain a slicked back look.
