Miu Miu SS21 X ghd
Yesterday in Paris, Miu Miu ended the season of digital fashion month and presented their new Spring/Summer 2021 collection via a livestream video.
The intention of the show was to create a ‘Miu Miu sports club’ which referenced the world of sport as an arena of observation, which is what Miuccia Prada wanted her 90’s inspired runway to be.
The concept was bought to life as the new collection was showcased in an empty stadium with high-profile fans projected onto the show venue wall, making up a virtual front row around the runway.
Guido Palau created a slicked back look in partnership with ghd to complement the sports luxe aesthetic – using the ghd helios hairdryer and ghd platinum+ styler to create a smooth and polished look.
The hair at Miu Miu was a two parted look which had a very sporty feeling to it. It was slicked back with a ponytail which I achieved using the ghd helios hairdryer and ghd platinum+ styler. - Guido

I blow-dried the hair smoothly down with a centre parting in place using the ghd helios hairdryer (£159) and a large bristle brush.
Once the hair was dry, I secured it into a ponytail and sprayed it in place.
I then used the ghd platinum+ styler (£175) to smooth out the hair to create a sleek finish.
