The inspiration for Altuzarra’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection came from Hayao Miyazaki’s animated film ‘Princess Mononoke’ and its central theme of nature versus industry.
The story of the film centres on the conflict between the Gods of the Forest, and the humans who consume its resources. As its core, this collection is about loss of innocence, growing up and embracing fearlessness. Odile Gilbert created a natural, healthy look to perfectly match with this theme.

Get the look:
- Prep damp hair by applying a dime size amount of Moroccanoil Treatment from root-to-tip to create the perfect styling foundation, controlling frizz and boosting shine.
- Depending on the hair type, apply Moroccanoil Volumizing Mousse beginning 5 inches out from the root, to provide instant volume, or the Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream from the mid-lengths to tips. Brush hair and create a clean middle part at the crown of the head. Brush the hair paying particular attention to the root and tip parts leaving the middle part of the lengths more natural.
- If necessary, use a curl iron to curl the lengths on the middle part and brush them.
- Then, apply on the lengths the Moroccanoil Dry Texture Spray, giving the hair texturized volume and hold with a dry, gritty finish.
