The Outside

Entitled ‘The Outside’ the Wood Wood Spring/Summer 2019 collection celebrates the great outdoors.

The contemporary street wear of Wood Wood is infused with elements from outdoor life in both prints, styling and details. The life in and with nature is a focal point in the collection that celebrates ventures into the wilderness as well as the people who choose to live outside the mainstream.

Built upon a mix of authentic 90’s sports, outdoor elements and Wood Wood signature looks, the design team have created a fresh summer collection with a light, functional and sport feel in correspondence with the inspiration.

Hair Inspiration:

The hair was conceived by trying to create a texture that reflected being out in the elements of the great outdoors. This particular type of texture was inspired by being caught in the rain and leaving your hair to dry without touching it, so there was a lot of movement but not any real volume. First reference was the collection itself, and then taking those designer dedications to reflect the mood of the hair. - Jan Przemyk.

How to:

The hair was dampened down using R+Co ONE Prep Spray and then a delicate amount of R+Co ROCKAWAY Salt Spray or R+Co SPIRITUALIZED Dry Shampoo Mist was applied. This was hand dried with cold air and finished with R+Co TROPHY Shine + Texture Spray, leaving a lived out look.
