Create your own ECO PR
As well as shouting about your ECO credentials and your Good Salon Guide Eco Salon award on social media, why not inform local magazines and newspapers about your new credentials.
With the interest in being environmentally aware and responsible growing all the time, the media has never been keener to report on the issue and highlight businesses who are making changes.
Getting your Good Salon Guide Eco status out there will also attract more clients to your salon, as people are actively searching out businesses who operate with ethical principles at the forefront of their agenda.
Once you’ve got your ECO award from Good Salon Guide, take some pictures of you and your team with the signage and send them off to your local newspapers and magazines. Also put together a brief press release explaining what the award is, why you were keen to have it and what it means to you and your business. Always put in a couple of quotes which can be used and a good selection of pictures.
