We recently helped out a salon owner in South Wales. He came to us to talk about a recent situation he’d been struggling with.
A receptionist had been on long term sick and the owner discovered that she had set up social media pages as a home hairdresser while she’d been off work. They contacted us to discuss their options and next steps, as he felt that the relationship between the employee and employer had broken down irreconcilably. After much discussion, the employee was invited to a disciplinary meeting and dismissed.
