Aidan Fitzgerald

Aidan Fitzgerald opened his first salon 49 years ago. He has worked with L'Oreal as a consultant for the past 15 years and is passionate about hair. His signature salon in Blackrock with its motto "Excellence Delivered with Passion" has been profiled in the media for the past three decades.

Aidan is a past president of the IHF and has been a pioneer of raising hairdressing standards. He has also organised many charitable events especially for the homeless. He has demonstrated his skills in Estonia, Iceland, London and Paris where Aidan and his wife Karen created two looks for the L'Oreal "Sweet Gourmet Collection". Aidan and his Artistic Team created stunning looks for the L'Oreal Talent Spotting show in the Guinness Hop Store and this year they joined forces with designer David Koma for the spectacular L'Oreal Professional Colour Eliminator show in the O'Reilly Hall at UCD Dublin. Aidan Fitzgerald Hair Salon awarded EnviroCom Award 2013 by An Tánaiste Mr. Eamon Gilmore T.D for initiatives resulting in saving 229,500 litres of water, 12618 KWh, and 6864 Kg of C02 in one year, equating to 20% savings on the salon’s energy cost. Aidan Fitzgerald has been asked to work as Ambassador for Matrix in Southern Ireland in 2014.
