I've been going to Avant Garde for over 10 years and despite living in Edinburgh now I trust nobody else to colour my hair, even the more 'junior' stylists have given me gorgeous balayage or babylights time and time again. They're great at listening to what I want (usually leaving in the toner for as long as poss so I'm ashy as can beeee), great at knowing how much they can do to my hair with minimal damage or the best way to lighten my dark blonde without too many foils or too much of an obvious root (seeing as I can't make it there every eight weeks like I used to!) and it's always a lovely experience. The one 'mistake' (more of a miscommunication I think) that I've had in 11 years was very minor but still fixed the next day with gorgeous results – I haven't a bad word to say about any of my zillions of visits. Had my first appointment with Lauren today! She was fab. Gorgeous hair colour, Wellaplex treatment so my hair is super silky, followed by and a fab cut and blow dry!
