Trading since 2002, Ego has truly established itself as one of the leading salons, not only in Inverness, but in the UK with over 40 award nominations and wins.

Our Kenneth Street salon in Inverness has become renowned for its classic and contemporary creative skills, and our Creative Team is sought after regularly for fashion shows and photo shoots. Our boutique Inverness salon was awarded Five Stars from the Good Salon Guide in 2008, and regularly features in national hair magazines.

Really want to say a massive Thank you to Fearn, so incredibly happy with my new short hair. Was a bit nervous, as havn't been in salon for many years but will definitely be a regular here now. This place rocks!

This place rocks! Jo transformed my hair (my life) from around 18 months of neglect, I had grey roots, worn out old colour with cheap home dye over the top. Jo Listened to me, told me her vision and it’s amazing. Full grey coverage and the colours work perfect with my natural crazy wave. She is a genius! Only negative is All mine, i forgot to buy the conditioning treatment she used as it left my hair feeling perfectly shiny and 10 years younger.

Great Experience

Great experience today at Ego - Louise did a great job colouring and cutting my hair. Very happy! This is my 5th year with Ego and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I would urge clients to tell their hairdresser if they are not happy or ask if they want a flipping cup of coffee. 9 times out of 10 if people have a problem it is because they have not made it clear about what they want. Sort things out face to face rather than keep quiet and complain about it on Facebook and give a bad star rating!

My first time at Ego Hair Design and I loved it, as I am an “older “lady was scared of change but the lovely Fearn listened and advised me without any pressure,absolutely love my new style and colour and have had so many lovely comments about my hair, wonderful experience for me thanks to Fearn xx

I really like this salon, it's very friendly and they know what there talking about they treat you very good and give you very good advise , I got my cut and colour yesterday by Chloe . She is very talented in what she does including make up . I will be using this salon from now on

Brilliant Salon

Absolutely brilliant salon. Our two lovely ladies helped me and my 5 amazing friends have the funniest and most amazing makeovers. They made us feel so welcome, relaxed and at home. The little touches like prosseco and music added to the experience. We all left feeling and looking like the best version of ourselves. We then went on to have a fantastic night as we felt so glamorous. Thanks for looking after us and introducing us to Bruce, he is super cute, we will visit again.
