Elita Hair Salon is a multilingual salon and welcomes everyone to our home!

Elita Hair Salon is an intimate salon with highly competent and trained staff, offering a one to one service using only the best products within a comfortable relaxed salon atmosphere that offers excellent consultations as well as after care advice.

Our services range from children's hair and bridal hair to manicures and pedicures, all under one roof - with gift vouchers and special offers available as well as late night and Sunday appointments available on request.​ You can also relax during your appointment with a choice of 120 digital online magazines! 

We have been accepting, and will be accepting, appointments outside our standard opening hours such as call outs for events etc. Please note our salon's booking policy: deposits apply due to the high demand and accuracy of bookings, attendance, technicality, quality, and timing of our services.

Amazing hair consultation

Svetlana gave me an excellent hair consultation and cut for over 1hour. My hair is very fine but extremely thick which in turn leads to serious tangles with a very heavy feeling. Since my appointment approx 2 months ago, I have had hardly any tangles and have found my hair so much easier to manage. Svetlana also opens on Mondays which can be so helpful. Thank you so much and I will be back.

Svetlana is not only extremely talented, she is lovely to be around. We chatted a majority of my appointment. The overall experience from booking the appointment, to getting it done was perfection. Amazing experience

I had my colour correction done with Svetlana today and I have to say it's been one of the best experiences I ever had in a hairdressers ,after being in lockdown for so long and having bad experiences with other hairdressers due to my hair type (dry and curly ) I out my self in Svetlanas hands and she did not disappoint me ,she brought my messed up colour into an amazing colour and talked me through every aspect of the process , she really made me enjoy the whole experience and did an amazing job as well as navigating me through the confusing part of picking colours and product we are on an amazing journey and I can not wait to revisit as she is an artist and gives her time and knowledge , I can not fault anything about my visit and I am definitely a customer for life ❤️

Wow what can I say! I had the most amazing experience today in Elita Hair salon.

As this was my first time getting my hair done professionally I simply couldn’t think of one bad thing to say about this salon but just brilliant! I would recommend Sharon, shes not only very professional in her job but very friendly and chatty and I was put at ease as soon as I walked through the door! Svetlana who was the owner was such a lovely woman and she is absolutely fantastic at her job, so caring for her clients and made me feel very welcomed. Great atmosphere and I left leaving feeling so happy with my results, thanks to these lovely ladies I’m getting so many nice compliments about my hair. I will 100% be back and will recommend to all my friends and family. Best blonde ever!

I just want to say that getting my hair done with Svetlana at Elita Hair Salon is not only a pleasure, but an absolute treat. She has been doing my hair for years, and every time I want a change, her skills never seize to amaze me! I used to have a longish hairstyle, and wanted a refresher. she did exactly what I wanted, and managed to achieve the purest, most neutral beautiful blonde I have ever seen. well actually that's a lie, I had seen it before on another one of her clients and had requested the same payoff, but didn't think it was possible as my hair is so dark and her other client was so fair. I am in absolute awe, like honestly my jaw is still dropped because my hair condition is in its best it's been for years and yet it's the brightest and lightest it has also been. and this was only for the colour... as for the cut, Svetlana is on another ball game. league of her own. she saw ONE photo of what I wanted, keep in mind that the model's headshape and face was smaller and different, and made my cut suit me perfectly while achieving all the elements of the initial desired style. I CANNOT recommend her enough, she is a hair goddess, hair magician.. whatever you can think of, that's what she is.

Best treatment in town

I have been going to Svatlana for over a year now . Not only has she ended my damaged hair back to health but every time I’m here she goes above a dveyond for her clients . Such a nice lady and the salon chats aren’t just small talk too she takes such pride in her businessnd she gets to know Nd takes care to remember each and every client it’s almost like going to see a friend i wanted to go blonde get hair cute but keep the lenght which is of course a tough request and this woman delivers every single bloody time I come out with blonder hair that grows and grows and shines and I have notticed that my hair is in over all better condition than ever even though It’s blonder at every visit which only speaks to the high quality of product the salon uses. I will never change my hair dresser and recommend Elita Hair Salon to everyone. My mother loves it here too and she is never happy with her hair we both have gone to so many hair dressers over the years and Elita Hair Salon is just the place to go :)

I have difficult hairs to grasp. The service of the Elita Hair Salon is amazing, it has done excellent work. I was not convinced what I really want and I relied on the trust of an owner professionalism and it was my best decision. The salon owner has a great sense of hairstyling. Now I have a beautiful color, I have no problem with stacked my hair. Thank you Elita Hair Salon! Strongly recommended, definitely, I will back again.

The salon owner kindly fitted us in at the last minute when we flew over for a funeral, they were sympathetic, courteous and just so kind. Also our hair looked great! Wonderful service all round.

I was rushing past at just a few minutes short of 6pm and just asked her was she still open (as much of Kilkenny seems to shut at 5.30pm!) as I needed a quick wash and blowdry. She very willingly said she'd be able to do my hair. She did a marvellous job, I was so pleased with it! Halfway through, a gentleman came in wanting a cut and blowdry and she said she could fit him in if he were willing to wait until 6.30. I was so impressed by her willingness to help out and not clockwatch. I was very appreciative of her afterhours work. Elita is definitely my go-to hair person whenever I'll be in Kilkenny.

Really nice salon, very relaxing and friendly. The shampoo was very relaxing and the stylist did my hair perfectly. This is only my second visit, I come here every time I visit Kilkenny.

Best balayage I've ever had! Service was exceptional from start to finish. Svetlana listened to exactly what I wanted and is a complete perfectionist. So the results speak for themselves. Delighted with my hair and will definitely be back.
