About Rachel's Boutique

Rachel’s Boutique is a leading hair and make-up salon in the Mortimer, Burghfield, Tadley and Reading areas.

Owner Rachel Edwards opened her Mortimer hair and make-up salon in April 2014. Clients loved the relaxed atmosphere with its friendly and experienced staff and as a result in 2016 Rachel had to move the salon to bigger, better premises – but still in Mortimer.

As Rachel says … “In our new premises we can offer a relaxed salon experience, with high standards of hair and make-up treatments, at an affordable cost to all our clients”

Rachel also offers brides all the help they need with their hair and make-up for the big day. Rachel will discuss all her requirements including hair and Make-up for the Mother-of-the-Bride, Bridesmaids and Flower girls.

Great Salon

Love this village hairdressers! Easy to park, no car park charges! Then once inside very stylish and high class so always enjoy the pampering along with a complimentary cup of tea and biscuit! The hairdressers are always welcoming, warm and professional! I was always nervous with having my hair cut and coloured but have used Rachel for years now and highly recommend her! I will not change hairdressers! Keep the good work up girls!!

Amazing

Rachel is a star and she has always been able to understand how I want my hair highlighted (something many hairdressers find challenging)! The salon is beautifully done and the neck supports on the chairs are so relaxing when getting your hair washed!

Rachel has been cutting my hair for a number of years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else! I used to be nervous about having my hair cut but Rachel knows exactly what works for my hair and always does a fantastic job. The customer service is excellent; the salon is stylish and all of the stylists are friendly and helpful. I always look forward to my next hair cut and a bit of pampering time. I am always made to feel very welcome, the service is second to none and Rachel always listens to your ideas and thoughts if you want to try a different style or colour, and I will always be 110% happy leaving the salon, I would not go anywhere else. After wanting a complete change and being brave enough to visit a salon for one of the first time in years, (previously had a mobile hairdresser) I visited the Salon yesterday afternoon for the first time, after reading all the great reviews online. First time visiting the salon and I couldn't be happier with my new hair cut and colour. Kim did a wonderful job and listened exactly to what I wanted.
