I had the pleasure of bringing my mum here just before Christmas, and not only did she have a lovely stylist Isobel, but what she most enjoyed was the treatment she recieved from the young lady who washed her hair and told her that she was an assistant as she was doing her training. She was kind, talked her through what she was doing and generally chatted to mum. Unfortunately mum did not get her name but told me she was tall with blue hair (I'm not sure) she also said she was very polite and kind and made sure her neck wasn't getting wet. I was told I must let you know as she said what an asset she was to your salon, and how proud you should be of her to be part of your inspiring upcoming stylists. She would definitely bring her back to your salon. She did love her stylist too but thought the trainee should get the review.

Kerestraight - the game changer

I don’t normally post on social media, but I felt compelled to say a huge public thank you to George and Leah at The Hair Business Cowbridge for my hair transformation with Kerestraight. After 2 pregnancies, my hair was left wrecked. Coarse, frizzy, and dull. I have tried various in-salon and at home keratin or straightening treatments over the last few years - some of them were quite good, but nothing compares to Kerestraight. George introduced me to my new must-have treatment when I moved to the area last year, and I quickly became a Hair Business fan. I had my fourth treatment last Friday - under George’s meticulous eye and demand for excellent attention to detail, Leah was learning the Kerestraight ropes. It’s a long process, but worth every minute of it - it helps that the salon is relaxed and comfortable (everyone there is attentive and the coffee is good). Leah painstakingly tended to every strand of my long locks, and we all beamed at the results almost 3 hours later. Leah did a great job. My once coarse, frizzy mane is smooth, glossy, incredibly silky soft and, after shampooing and conditioning at home the next day, a quick blow dry and I was good to go. I never use straighteners anymore - my hair looks just fine without them, and I embrace the sleek natural wave I am left with after Kerestraight. I also no longer waste money on seeking the perfect products - I only ever buy Kerestraight moisture enrich as there is nothing better in my opinion. I see George at the salon for a gloss and Olaplex in between my Kerestraights and my hair is so much easier for it. Not an inexpensive treatment, but a game changer for frizzy or dry hair! For my thick, long hair, the treatment lasts a few months. However, each time I can go a bit longer between treatments because it dramatically improves the condition of hair over time. Like I said - a game changer! Loving my hair again feels good :-) Thank you so much George and Leah!

Total Trust

I have been a loyal client for nearly 6 years now. Having had my very long hair chopped and strong colour changes I know I can completely trust the wonderful stylists with my somewhat awkward hair. I go in and say things like "chop it off and I want bright red hair". Then I sit back and enjoy being pampered. I always come out loving the result. I really do totally trust the team and they take great care of me.

This is a wonderful salon, staffed by highly trained, dedicated staff who have the customer at the forefront of their minds making everyone at ease.This establishment is a goldmine of elegance and professionalism. My wife and I travel 50 miles to get to this salon monthly and this speaks for itself. Treat yourselves, both male and female to a proper hairdo with people who care. Their coffee is good too! Professional Service and Lovely Stylists!

I initially attended for a consultation following a complete disaster with my usual salon. My hair had been damaged beyond anything Id ever seen, and I was literally in tears. A friend of mine reccomended The Hair Business, so I went along to see if they could help. I was made to feel very welcome by George and Claire, who had a look at my hair and recomended that I make and appointment to have it washed so that George could see the extent of the damage. On the day of my appointment, I was made to feel special, and knew that they were giving me their undivided attention. The girls talked me through everything that they were doing, and were completely honest about what needed to be done. The result was a beautiful cut by George, and shiney soft hair. Unfortunately I did have to have alot of the front sides removed due to the extensive damage caused by my previous salon. During my appointment I asked about Hair Dreams Extensions. This was something I thought would help the loss of the length at the sides. Claire is the HairDreams specialist in the salon. She gave me good advice and all of the info regarding the process, cost, time and end result. So I chose my colours and booked my appointment! I must add that there were no appointments available with Claire before the Friday, which was my works Christmas party. When Claire found out, she asked the girls to try and rearrange the Thursday in order to fit me in between other clients! Claire said that she wanted to have my extensions done for the party. I was blown away, how kind. 1 week later…….. Why did I never think of this before?! Claire fitted my extensions over a couple of hours. The process was relaxing, and Claire was great company. The end result was and is absolutely amazing!! I am so proud of my hair! Everyone has commented on how beautiful, thick and shiny it is. So would I reccoment this salon? YES YES YES! I will never go to another salon again. Tomorrow my little girl who is 10, is having her first appointment at The Hair Business. I'm really looking forward to seeing her have this lovely experience, with such lovely ladies. If you are reading this review Claire, George or any of the lovely stylists, I want you to know how grateful I am. 1 month ago I was sat in your salon in tears, and now I am so happy with my hair. The colleagues are up to a challenge even with designing new hair styles with up to date combination styles that bring character to the design. Don't miss it!

As a mother of two, I rarely get the time to go to the salon, and when I do, the time is precious. I recently changed to The Hair Business after my old salon closed and was blown away by the difference. They really made me feel special and valued. The spaciousness is incredible - no coughing and spluttering thanks to noxious fumes. The reclining electronic massage chairs at the rinsing area were a welcome surprise and I felt really relaxed and full of wellbeing. And Nathan, who did my hair, was wonderful - really listening, explaining which colours would work and which wouldn't really well, and meticulously precise. I honestly couldn't remember having that nice a time at any hair salon and I love my cut and colour more than any I've had in years. Thank you so much, I'm raving about The Hair Business to everyone now!

Wow - what a salon

As a very busy woman working in the hair training industry my hair is a very important 'asset'. I have been a client of The Hair Business for many years - I absolutely love going to the salon, they really know and understand my hair - they always make me feel so important and 'wanted'.
