I want to dye my hair from a dark blonde to a medium/light blonde!

Hi,

I really have my heart set on dyeing my hair from dark blonde to a between medium or light blonde. I'm only thirteen and have never dyed my hair apart from getting highlights. Is there anything you could recommend for me?

I also have quite a thick head of hair and would like to know how to grow my hair longer?

If you want your naturally dark blonde hair lighter by a shade or two I would recommend having highlights to softly lift the colour. Going for an all over permanent tint which is the only type of colour that will lighten at your age might be a bit of a mistake and could jeopardise the condition.

Go speak to a hair colourist and see what your options are, they will be able to give you an in-depth consultation. Don't be afraid to ask questions and come away with as much information as possible.

If you are trying to grow your hair then take great care of it, good shampoos and conditioners help and also a diet rich in essential oils and vitamins often helps to maintain healthy hair growth.
