Celebrity hairdresser of the year Jamie Stevens, resident hairdresser on The X Factor, This Morning and How to Look Good Naked has opened his first London salon, located at 9 Russell Gardens, Kensington.
A flagship Matrix salon, the modern boutique 12-chair, two-storey location features a dedicated colour area, spa style backwash with beautiful fully reclining chairs and soft lighting, continuous mirrors and private area downstairs. The highly skilled team offers everything from cut and blow dry, colour, keratin blow dry, extensions, afro specialists, men's services and European - with dedicated cutting, long hair.
Later in 2012, Jamie will open a bespoke beauty area within the salon, offering everything from eyebrow treatments through to Botox, manicures, pedicures and facials.
As Jamie is the resident X Factor hairdresser you can expect to rub shoulders with contestants past, present and future at the salon. Equally at home working on super glam blow-dries, edgy cuts, afro hair and extensions, he’s also won Men’s Hairdresser of the Year twice. Jamie’s Sister Tasha, an award winning colourist whose credits include The X Factor, Gok's Fashion Fix and more, plus colouring hair for the likes of Little Mix and the X Factor finalists, as well as working with photographer Rankin, heads up the colour team alongside managing the salon.
Prices range from £65-£300 for a cut and blow dry (£50-£185 men’s); £60-£300 for colour – full price list available on request.
