Colour Trophy Success for Simon Webster Hair

Share

Simon Webster Hair is fast becoming familiar with national award ceremonies…

Since the salon opened its doors in 2012, they’ve been in the Grand Finals for at least one national award every year.

Last year they won the Mizani Afro Look Award for the UK, when SWH Team Colour Specialist Patrick Matthews wowed the judges with his sleek, modern look.

This year, SWH Team made it to the Grand Finals of the L’Oreal Colour Trophy itself where they competed against some of the biggest and most influential hairdressing chains and salons across the country.

But, this little, independent Brighton salon won two awards on the evening; winning the Southern Region and also coming 2nd overall across the whole of the UK – an outstanding achievement!

The styling for the salon’s 2016 entry was lead by Patrick Matthews (SWH Team colourist) and Yonick Filopoulos (SWH Team stylist), with make-up by Brighton freelance MUA Xoe Kingsley and a stunning choker on loan from another local artisan, jewellery-maker John Moore. The model was Pollie Sortain.

Simon Webster Hair said,

We are incredibly proud of the amazing talents of the whole team and cannot thank them enough for their hard work, dedication and passion for the industry we work in.

We’d also like to thank all our clients, friends and colleagues because without you, none of this would be possible. Thank you all – we LOVE you!
