The exceptionally talented Ravensbourne fashion students recently hosted 'The Degree Show', which allowed them to present their final collections on a specially created catwalk at Ravensbourne College.
The graduate fashion students saw their designs - the culmination of three years hard work and study - come under the scrutiny of members of the fashion press and industry including William Tempest and Louie Lewer from Stella McCartney, as well as up-and-coming girl band IV Rox.
On-site to style the hair for both of the shows throughout the day was the Unite session team, which included budding stylists Betty Westerman and Christian Esposito, and was led by senior education team member Fletcher. Speaking on the show, Betty said,
It was really good to be part of such an energetic team and our mentor Fletcher was excellent.
Hair was styled to three trends that included wet look low ponytails, textured mid-lengths to ends - giving that sleek look, and a classic carefree tousled look.
Key products used included Unite Beach Day, Unite Tricky Wax, and Unite Session Whip.
A highlight in the Ravensbourne calendar, the fashion show is entirely organised and arranged by the student body. The event builds on the successful outing taken by the students to London Graduate Fashion week, where they gained many plaudits for their designs.
