Essential Looks Heads to London for a Spring Spectacular

This season’s Schwarzkopf Professional European Essential Looks show will take place for the very first time in the world’s most creative fashion capital; London, where the craft of hairdressing meets the culture of fashion.

Schwarzkopf Professional’s trend showcase will take place in the capital on 14th May at the Grade II-listed Troxy theatre, with a stellar line-up of hairdressing talent taking to the stage to bring to life 2017’s biggest hair trends and showcase the powers of the recently-relaunched BLONDME and OSIS+ Session Label range.

Taking on the challenge of inspiring a global audience is a stellar mix of hairdressing talent who will showcase their interpretations of the season’s key looks, colours and finishes in one eclectic show.

Taking to the stage for the spectacular show this spring will be:

Kim Vo, USA

Blonde expert and BLONDME ambassador, Kim, is colourist to the Hollywood elite and has been dubbed the ‘best blonder in the business’ by Vogue. The colour pioneer will be sharing his expert insight on how to go from dark to blonde, flawlessly for the ultimate blonde showcase.

Tyler Johnston and Lesley Jennison, UK

Schwarzkopf Professional’s ambassadors both come with a wealth of experience in session and celebrity styling. They’ll be presenting their takes on the 2017 Essential Looks trends, designed to bridge the gap between the runway and the high street and inspire hairdressers and salon clients. This season’s collection, Modern Ikon, features three looks: Opulent, inspired by the allure of the 50s French Riviera; Beat Icon celebrates the icons of the 60s-beat generation with an urban update, and Colorama combines the attitude of punk with Tokyo-inspired neon vibes for a futuristic feel.

Hooker and Young, UK

British hairdressing’s best-loved duo has been nominated for British Hairdresser of the Year on numerous occasions, as well as owning a group of high-end salons in the North East. They’ll be presenting a new take on BLONDME looks, bringing their signature style of beautiful, wearable hair to the stage.

Bundy Bundy, Austria

Viennese hairdressing legends Bundy Bundy have been leaders in their field for more than 100 years. The family-run business is renowned for its dynamic creative vision and boundary-pushing aesthetic, which they’ll bring to life as they present inspiring new ways with blondes.

X-presion, Spain

Madrid-based studio, X-presion, is acclaimed for their visionary colouring techniques, which make headlines across the globe. They’ll be sharing the most cutting-edge takes on colour, using bonding technology to push boundaries with no damage.
