Fellowship Teams Announced for 2019

Each year, the Fellowship for British Hairdressing provides unparalleled access to expert education for members of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.

Through their diverse approach to mentoring, the Fellowship provides emerging talent with the opportunity for education, inspiration, exposure and experiences including stage work, photoshoots and networking.

F.A.M.E. Team

The F.A.M.E. Team is the Fellowship’s most renowned education program, with a host of hairdressing icons having passed through the program since its launch in 1993. This year, Nick Irwin resumes his role as team leader and promises to provide even more exciting opportunities for the four members.

Barber Project

The Barber Project is the Fellowship’s newest launch, and will help a talented team of new barbers and men’s hairdressers hone their skills in this profitable and growing market. Edward Hemmings is the team leader for this debut team, who have an exciting year ahead of inspiring mentor classes.

ClubStar Art Team

The ClubStar Art Team provides the opportunity for education and exposure to a team of ClubStar Fellowship members; that is, members aged 25 and under. Simon Tuckwell - a former F.A.M.E. Team member himself - will once again be mentoring this team in 2019.

Project X

Project X has been described as "the ultimate hairdressing finishing school" and aims to attract a broad and experienced calibre of participants from Fellowship member salons. Kai Wan will once again be mentoring this year’s team, which is made up of a diverse line-up of hairdressing talent.

Colour Project

The Colour Project is the hairdressing industry's first colour-specific annual program that allows access to the artistry of some of the finest colourists without the restraints of being allied to any one product manufacturer. Paul Dennison takes over the reins as team leader in 2019, for an exciting year of creativity and education.
