Indola UK Showcases at London Fashion Week

Co-owner of Louise Faye Hair and Beauty in Kibworth, Andrew Minarik, helped to take the fashion world to new heights during London Fashion Week for Indola UK. Andrew headed up the hair team at the Kolchagov Barba Autumn/Winter show at the Melia Hotel last Sunday evening.

Championing the up and coming talent in the world of hairdressing, many of the hair team assisting Andrew were students of Riverside College. Indola supports students from Riverside College by providing them with Indola products within the college and supporting the Grassroots education project.

1950’s POP ART glamour was the inspiration behind the Kolchagov Barba show. Vivid fabrics, classical lines and daring designs were some of the characterizing traits seen at the Kolchagov Barba Autumn/Winter 2020 show.

The POP ART collection is sophisticated, yet daring, elegant yet striking. Andrew reflected this powerful statement in the hair and created beautiful looks on the models including styling supermodel, Caprice Bourret. Caprice exclusively appeared at London Fashion Week as Kolchagov Barba’s Celebrity guest. This was her first time returning to the runway in ten years.

The hair brief mirrored the gown inspiration, 1950’s POP ART Glamour and the diversity of model hair types and looks at the Kolchagov show meant a variety of Indola products were used to create the looks.

Andrew’s key products for styling were the Indola Setting Volume spray, the Indola Blonde Addict Ice Shimmer Spray, the Indola Thermal Protection Spray to protect against styling and finishing with the Indola Flexible Hairspray.

Caprice loved the Indola products so much so that she even took some home with her commenting on how amazing her hair felt after trying them for the first time. Andrew Minarik said:

My personal highlight was styling Caprice. I love celebrity styling, runway shows, mixing it with International travel with Miss World, and having daily contact with my clients at Louise Faye Hair and Beauty.

The simple yet stunning styles that Andrew created truly complimented the garments perfectly, enhancing the pure but strong message of the collection.

This is the 5th time that Kolchagov Barba has partnered with Andrew Minarik and Indola to create collections for London Fashion Week.
