Katie Godfrey is the owner of the KG brand, where she built an empire from a single salon bought aged 19 as a school leaver with no qualifications, to a chain of salons, UK wide beauty training academy, eyelash product range, and salon coaching business.
Having been bullied at school, Katie was determined to succeed in life. Her Bedfordshire beauty salon became a go-to destination and she has racked up awards winning 15 to date, as well as securing press coverage nationally including the likes of OK and Hello. Her achievements are more impressive considering she has built her successful career whilst single-handedly parenting her daughter. Katie is a testament to the goals that can be reached with determination and hard work with an abundance of salon professionals approaching her for inspiration.

Katie’s impressive career includes franchising and selling a number of salons, co-authoring a bestselling book called 'Extraordinary Women’, co-owning “Salon Franchise,” a consultancy company in the hair and beauty industry, 15 award wins and her own podcast. Her passion for motivating others has led her to becoming a dedicated business mentor, looking after 35 salons. Her various courses and talks give others in the industry the tools to build their careers. Katie now offers 1-2-1 sessions and group mentoring memberships (to salon owners) in a range of different business-focused courses with the aim of mentoring individuals to grow and thrive in their business.
