Paul Edmonds Team up with Joshua Kane

The Paul Edmonds team were appointed hair experts at Joshua Kane’s fashion show: Grand Illusion. The SS16 men’s collection runway show took place at Old Spitalfields Market, London on Thursday 11th June.

For Spring/Summer 16, Joshua Kane presented his second runway collection, conjuring the spirit of the great illusionists who made the impossible possible. The hair theme was ‘Gilded Youth Rock'n'Roll Gentleman’ incorporating metallic hair colour.

Paul Edmonds London brought glamour to the Rock’n’Roll theme by using spray on gold hair colour and Spray à Porter by Kerastase on wet hair to create tousled beach waves. For models with thick hair, stylists used L’Oreal Beach Wave Spray and for those with finer hair, Shu Uemura Texture Wave gave the best results on rough dried and diffused hair. Hairstylists also applied gold leaf to eyebrows and temporary gold paint to beards for a more dramatic effect.

Celebrity attendees included Calum Best and Made in Chelsea star Oliver Proudlock, who also took to the runway to model the JK SS16 collection. Renowned photographer and director, Ellen von Unwerth was also present to take the official backstage shots.

Each guest received a selection of Paul Edmonds lifestyle products from the Black Pearl and Moroccan Fig collection.
