Phoenix Hair & Make Up Take to The Glens

Abergele salon team, Phoenix Hair & Make Up, walked 23 Km on Sunday 18th November 2012 to raise funds for local charity, St Kentigern Hospice in St Asaph, close by the salons home.

The entire walk took all day and stretched around the Llyn Breng and the Llyn Alwen Reservoir. Joining in on the action packed walk was a few salon clients just to make sure their sponsor money was well earned.

Salon owner Pauline Heap-Williams said,

It was certainly a tough day but as well as raising funds for the local hospice that truly needs the funds, we also caught some amazing views in North Wales and enjoyed the company of each other.

The team raised a current total of £710 which also included an in-salon raffle.

St Kentigern Hospice (http://www.stkentigernhospice.org.uk) is a local charity providing end of life care to adult patients across North Wales. Hospice care to patients is free and can cost up to £1.6Million per year.
