Pixie Lott requests HOB Salons for new Lipsy clothing range

HOB Salons has been a hot request again with celebrity client Pixie Lott as the award-winning salon group’s expertise was flown to Ibiza to style the Mama –doo singer’s locks for her summer clothing line with high street label Lipsy.

HOB Creative Team member and Head of Education Claire Dawson jetted off to Ibiza for the two-day shoot, which saw her work with braids and waves to complement the floral prints and boho looks within Pixie’s spring/summer 2011 Lipsy range.

Following the campaign shoot, HOB stylist Claire was on-hand for the press launch at London’s Swarovski Crystal Lounge. Taking to the stage sporting a stunning Heidi plait, Pixie revealed her new line to an awaiting audience of esteemed journalists and celebrities alike. Also working her magic on the models showcasing the collection, Claire and her fellow HOB team quickly took the looks from California Dreaming to Pixie Party with effortless style. Polishing their looks, the styling team smoothed out looser locks for a more groomed finish, whilst Pixie’s plaits were quickly unravelled and swept to the side as she re-emerged with cascading curls in a loose side style.

Following further styling for the Westfield store’s new line launch later that week, Claire was also called upon to style Ms. Lott for the consumer press event at the star-studded China White’s club.

Speaking about the campaign, Claire said:

I was thrilled to be requested again this year to style the hair for Pixie’s latest Lipsy range. The clothes are gorgeous and really reflect Pixie’s girly image so it was great to team this with tousled styles, groomed waves and braided updos in-line with this seasons key trends.
