Sean Taaffe and Marta Plechowska Selected for Team Ireland
Award-winning hairstylists Sean Taaffe and Marta Plechowska from the multi award-winning Sean Taaffe Hair & Beauty Group have been selected as members of Team Ireland 2013. Sean and Marta will join an elite group of top stylists from around Ireland who will represent their country in international hairdressing competitions such as the European Cup in Moscow, Russia and the World Championships in Frankfurt, Germany.

In the past eight years Team Ireland has had huge success – winning 136 international, European and world medals along with many international titles. The team is also hugely successful at national competitions with the current Irish Hairdresser of the Year, Irish Barber of the Year and Ireland’s BEST Hairstylist title holders all being members of Team Ireland.
Team Ireland trainer and manager, Maeve O’Healy-Harte, takes great care in choosing the team members each year to balance artistic flair and skill with competitions abroad. In 2013 Team Ireland will compete in the Americas Cup in Buenos Aires, Argentina and the European Cup in Moscow, Russia. In 2014 they will compete at the World Championships in Frankfurt, Germany.
Sean and Marta were personally invited onto Team Ireland by Maeve after their model presentations in Cork at the Fantastic Hairdresser Awards, and also at the recent National Hairdressing Championships in Dublin.
