Sean Taaffe Group Scoop Four Awards at the Prestigious Irish Hairdressing Championships 2013

The multi award-winning Sean Taaffe Hair Group scooped four top awards at the most prestigious event in the industry calendar, the annual Irish Hairdressing Championships 2013, which took place in the City West Hotel, Dublin on Sunday 10th March.

Sean Taaffe won second place in the Men’s Full Fashion, and third place in the Ladies Full Fashion and head stylist categories. Marta Plechowska won second in Ladies Long Hair Up and third in the Ladies Fashionable Hairstyle on Long Hair. The multi award-winning Sean Taaffe Group is Kerry’s leading hairdressing group, employing 42 staff members across its seven salons.

More than 300 stylists from all over Ireland, representing the ‘cream of the crop’ of the Irish hairdressing industry, showed their competitive edge as they battled it out to win at the Irish Hairdressing Championships 2013. With more than 15,000 employed in the Irish hairdressing industry, these awards set the benchmark for standards in the sector and give stylists the opportunity to showcase and receive recognition for their hard work and raw talent on both a national and international level.

The team at Sean Taaffe wowed judges on the day with their impeccably styled, creatively presented entries in each of the 13 categories. Attention to detail is critical in achieving success at this level, with the team meticulously preparing each entry from head to toe utilizing the skills of their own make-up artists, stylists and project management team.

The exceptional styling and wardrobe coordination by Jamie Bowler, manager at our Tralee salon, Clodagh Irwin Owens and Shindig for the clothing, hair assistant Lorraine Horan from our Tralee salon, project manager Emma Quirke who did an heroic job of coordinating the entire project, and to our coach Philip Rochford who worked tirelessly.
