SJ Forbes Stylist Announced As Goldwell 2018 Color Creative Winner

Hair by SJ Forbes, the award-winning independent hairdressing salon in Egham, Surrey, is celebrating the news that one of its stylists has secured a spot on the Goldwell 2018 Color Creative programme.

Stylist Danniey Robinson has been named as one of the 21 young talented colourists to successfully gain a place on the once in a lifetime mentorship programme, which aims to nurture new creative colour talent.

This year’s Goldwell 2018 Color Creative competition attracted hundreds of applicants from across the UK. Judges were looking for individuals under 25 years of age with two-five years salon experience, who were able to show exceptional talent in regards to colour application and technique. 

Applicants had to provide an inspirational mood board of the places and people who inspired them. Danniey’s submission was heavily influenced by her travels to Thailand, along with the work of her idol, Guy Tang - the celebrity hairdresser known for his cutting-edge colour work and educational prowess.

Danniey will now go on to be mentored by one of the biggest names in the hairdressing industry – Global Creative Ambassador for Goldwell and multi award-winning hairdresser, Mark Leeson.
