Sssh… Fellowship Are In Business

Share

The Fellowship held an incredibly special and exclusive workshop recently with renowned business expert Clive Collins, Salon Director at HOB Salons, who spent the day mentoring and providing guidance and advice to ten salon owners and five salon managers at the HOB Academy in London.

Hosted on the day by Edward Hemmings, this workshop was all about what it takes to have a successful salon. It’s not every day that you get to soak up first-hand knowledge and experience from someone who has built a ’27 salon strong’ company. Clive shared his experience and knowledge and some of the key strategies that have helped him to get HOB Salons to where it is today, sharing his salon success secrets. Minimum wage, the living wage, retail percentages and client retention were among the hot topics of the day.

Clive’s one key piece of advice and the jewel in the crown of his session, is the rebook every client before they leave the salon.

Without client retention, you cannot grow your business, says Clive, I’ve always found it a key component in having a successful salon, so this is the main point that I wanted to get across.

The attendees discussed with Clive how best to implement his ideas, and by the end of the day the room was buzzing with people ready to get back to their businesses and up their game.

The audience were fantastic! says Clive, it was comforting for everyone to know that we’re all experiencing the same problems and issues within our salons. My one key piece of advice and my jewel in the crown is to rebook every client before they leave the salon! Without client retention, you cannot grow your business.

Edward Hemmings says,

Clive put on an incredibly informative day, made even more special with Akin Konizi popping by to say hello, which the audience absolutely loved!
