Nelson Brown from browns in Dumfries assisted main stylist James Pecis at the Meadham Kirchhoff Spring/Summer 2013 show at London Fashion Week. Here Nelson gives us the lowdown on how to achieve the look.

Get the look:

Step 1 - Section the hair right round the hairline, leaving the back and top out of the way.

Step 2 - Using a tail comb create an off-centre zig-zag parting. Braid the hair into a tight French plait down the right hand side of the head, once you get to the nape of your neck, plait normally and secure with a hair band. Repeat this for the left hand side.

Step 3 - Take the plait on the right and wrap around the nape of your neck and pin into the left hand side plait, repeat the same movement on the left hand side.

Step 4 - With the loose section of hair curl using a curling wand to create tight ringlets.

Step 5 - Pin the ringlets high and to the front of your head with pins, gently loosen the curls with your fingers to create more volume and give a tousled softness.

Step 6 - Using a needle and thread weave throughout the curls to secure the style into place.

Step 7 - Finish by accessorising with ribbons and hair jewels to complete the look.
