HOB Salons takes education to new heights with the launch of the HOB Assistant Academy

Award-winning hairdressing group HOB Salons is set to take education to the next level with the opening of its brand new training facility with Joshua Galvin’s Central Training Group.

Situated just minutes from the flagship HOB Academy in the heart of the bustling and vibrant Camden Town, the new space, which opened earlier this month, houses a salon/studio environment, theory room, demo and workshop area, as well as HOB Salons’ PR and Marketing department.

Reflecting HOB’s unwavering dedication to excellence and passion for education, this acclaimed company has pushed the boundaries once again, providing 100 assistants across the 23-salon group with a specially designed space within a luxury gated development to aid their progression. Taught NVQ levels 1, 2 & 3, assistants will relish a high-tech environment kitted out with premium décor including plasma screens instead of whiteboards and laptops for every student. As HOB continues to work with The Central Training Group, this educational facility will see assistants visit The HOB Assistant Academy once a fortnight and train in a real salon environment, helping to develop their hands-on experience, as well as building their customer service skills, reinforcing the company’s drive for customer excellence.

Welcoming the next generation coming through HOB Salons to a new realm of assistant training, this tailored programme will see the renowned HOB Education team, together with the CTG, work on a much more personal level with HOB trainees, assessing the extra needs and capabilities of each individual and developing them to the excellent standard of hairdressing that the group is renowned for.
