Browns celebrates 10 years at the top

Nelson Brown of Browns in Dumfries is bringing his international experience home during an indulgent night of champagne celebrations for his salon clients.

Nelson said:

I spend many months each year travelling for hair shows and seminars, working backstage to create looks for models on the catwalks of London, Paris, Milan and New York, but I always love returning to the salon here in Scotland.  My clients make it all worthwhile.  We’ve enjoyed 10 years of stellar success at the highest level and our team wanted to do something amazing to say a huge thank you to everyone for their ongoing support and loyalty.

Nelson is owner and Creative Director of Browns and is revered in the hair industry for his amazing teaching style, gorgeous photographic work and stand-out skill.  His finalist status for ‘Scottish Hairdresser of the Year’ means he’s in constant demand around the globe but he never forgets his Dumfries roots.  The event will see these world-famous designers come to Scotland to showcase their collections all because of the connection they have with Nelson.  Ann-Sofie Back, whose revered collections stop fashion writers in their tracks, as well as Boudicca, showcasing only in Paris, the land of haute couture with their technically brilliant cuts and edgy design, will be sure to fast track Scotland to designer heaven. 

Nelson believes that Dumfries & Galloway is home to creatives, from award-winning artists to musicians and his constant support within the innovative community is a sure point to make it a fashion focus this April.  The bubbles will be in constant supply and the packed audience will buzz the night away.  The glitz, the glamour and the party atmosphere are designed to say a huge thank you to the clients that have made Browns the business it's become and Nelson warns that he’s spared no expense to make everyone feel special.
