EIDEAL is Bringing Back this Iconic OG Hair Bonding Product

Share
During its initial introduction to the market, Olaplex redefined the hair industry and quickly gained a devoted following among both salon professionals and consumers. Now, the brand is ready to embark on a new chapter in the Middle East under the guidance of its exclusive official distributor, EIDEAL.

Speaking to Good Salon Guide about the collaboration, Haysam Eid, Managing Director of EIDEAL, says, “As a brand Olaplex is passionate about providing its salon customers with the best possible products and services. Given our dedication to exceptional service, EIDEAL is the perfect match for this exciting brand. We very much look forward to working with our salon partners on raising awareness of this brand and helping it grow exponentially in the region.”

Integral to the unbelievable results Olaplex generated was a chemical called Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate, which allowed professionals to not only transform the hair but also achieve new heights in colour: blondes were brighter, brunettes more radiant, and redheads more vibrant. Now with 100 worldwide patents and counting, Olaplex remains the global market leader and synonymous with the category of haircare, “bond-building,” it pioneered.

Disulfide bonds are in all three main parts of the hair and are key to giving hair its structure, strength, and stability. When all the bonds, especially the disulfide bonds, are intact and in alignment, you have healthy, beautiful, shiny, touchable hair, but when these disulfide bonds are broken whether due to heat styling, chemical services, or environmental factors such as UV and humidity, it results in damage such as split ends, frizz, lacklustre colour, thinning, and dryness. When these precious bonds are broken, one incredibly damaging effect can take place. A single sulphur hydrogen molecule will pair with three oxygen molecules creating cysteic acid which then eats the protein out of the hair. But thanks to its advanced technology, Olaplex can prevent this reaction from occurring and ensuring hair is beautiful, healthy, manageable, and shiny.

Offering benefits to all hair types, extensions included, the unparalleled success of the in-salon treatments prompted the brand's team to develop a retail collection, designed to complement the salon services for use at home. “Olaplex has become a by-word for bond building products,” continues Eid. “In the coming months, we are excited about the new launches the brand has planned which will once again become disruptors of the hair and beauty industry.”

In the coming months, EIDEAL is preparing to introduce two captivating additions to the Olaplex haircare product lineup. Infused with patented OLAPLEX Bond Building Technology, the Nº.4D Clean Volume Detox Dry Shsampoo is a healthy scalp dry shampoo that leaves hair looking first-day fresh with clean, weightless body and the scalp feeling calm and comfortable. The Nº.4D Clean Volume Detox Dry Shampoo is clinically proven not to clog pores or leave a white, powdery residue. But unlike other dry shampoos, it is formulated with weightless rice starch, a powerhouse oil-absorber that will not clog follicles or build-up on the hair and scalp. It also features Rambutan Seed Extract to neutralize toxins caused by daily pollution and free-radicals, as well as neutralize odours prevent odour-causing oxidation of sebum on the scalp and hair. In addition to the dry shampoo, the brand has also released a reparative Volumizing Blow Dry Mist that offers lasting body and bounce that protects hair from heat to leave it shiny and visibly healthy. Sulphate Free and pH balanced, the Volumizing Blow Dry Mist contains Bamboo Extract Lipopeptides to help protect from styling damage and promote style retention, while Jackfruit Polysaccharides and advanced polymers create frizz-free blowouts. Uniquely the product also contains Pea Peptides that help to provide antioxidant protection and fight free radicals.

In an extraordinary step, the brand is set to make its groundbreaking re-entry into the region, by marking its initial venture into the beauty industry debuting a lightweight lash serum called LASHBOND™ Building Serum. As well as including OLAPLEX Bond Building Technology™, hydrating Hyaluronic Acid, and Biotin to the lash line to support and sustain the natural growth cycle and lash retention in its formulation it also boasts another patented inclusion: OLAPLEX Peptide Complex Technology™. This proprietary blend of peptides, including an OLAPLEX-exclusive peptide that supports the look of longer, thicker, stronger, and fuller lashes. Impressively, in a clinical trial of 33 people using LASHBOND™ Building Serum, 94% experienced more voluminous-looking lashes, 97% reported improvement in the appearance of denser and longer lashes, while 100% reported improvement in the appearance of thicker lashes, with results appearing as early as two weeks into the trial.

“We believe the Middle East's hair industry is ready to embrace Olaplex even more strongly than it did when it first launched, as no other brand has delivered the same comprehensive in-salon and at-home experience,” says Eid. “Also, I am hugely confident that the brand’s inaugural foray into the beauty industry will enjoy the sale level of success and be celebrated for its innovation in this new market just as the haircare products when they launched.”

With Olaplex's promising future, can your salon afford to miss out on this brand?
